season 2 demo day

so here we are.

at the end of six weeks, we had to select 8 founders from the 117 who applied for Season 2 to pitch their ideas in front of investors at demo day.

for this season's investor panel, we invited some amazing vcs from around the world:

the selection of the top 8 founders was based on three criteria:

- a clear problem they are solving

- a reasonable solution to that problem

- founders who were actively engaged with zerobase throughout the six weeks

founders had five minutes to pitch their ideas and answer questions from the investor panel. some really great questions were asked.

i actually told the investors to feel free to roast our founders during demo day. zerobase is all about providing valuable and realistic experiences for startup founders.

at the end of demo day, we reached out to investors to see if any founders had caught their eye. two participants were selected by a vc, which was pretty awesome to see.

season 3 is just around the corner, and we’re receiving some next-level applications compared to season 2.

we expect around 700 applications from founders around the world for season 3, which is already a 490% increase from season 2.
