i’m an adhd founder.

since i was a kid, i struggled with reading books. the only book i’m actually reading right now is the bible.

focusing on one task? nearly impossible. it’s crazy.

i’ll start a project, and a week later, i’m already moving on to something new.

because of this, i’ve left tons of projects unfinished since 2017.

so, since my focus span is basically one week, i try to build an mvp and launch within that week before my brain forces me to chase a new idea.

so i created a system that works for me.

day 1 (finding a problem) – i come up with a problem to solve, usually from my own experience.

day 2 (validation) – validate it at a minimal level. for example, i go into facebook groups and ask a simple question: "what's the most frustrating thing about doing x?"

if the answers align with my problem, i pull the trigger.

if not, i move on and find a new problem.

day 3 (wireframe) – i go into figma and build a simple wireframe. nothing fancy, just a basic layout that shows how everything connects.

day 4 & 5 (mvp build) – i use typeform for frontend and zapier to integrate with whatever i need—openai, gmail, slack, etc.

i build the mvp into a workable product.

i use typeform because it already looks great on both mobile and desktop, so i don’t have to design a ui from scratch.

i use zapier because it’s probably the easiest way to set up backend automation.

i don’t like using ai builders like replit because they skip the logical sequence, and if ai builds it for you, you don’t really understand how it works under the hood.

day 6 (launch) – i post a simple one-liner in facebook groups, product hunt, or kakaotalk communities describing the problem i’m solving, hoping the right people see it.

if i don’t get responses or usage within 3-4 days, i move on to a new problem.

day 7 (user feedback) – i contact the people who used my mvp and ask two questions:

- what’s one thing you liked about the product?

- what’s one thing you didn’t like?

then i analyze their answers and iterate on the mvp.

i’ve been doing this since 2017, and i still use this method today.

i built a whole website showcasing all the things i’ve made.

somehow, companies like coupang and klook saw this and reached out to offer me a product owner role.

i don’t know—maybe not being able to focus on one thing sounds like a flaw.

but the upside? i’ve developed the ability to think in product roadmaps, execute quickly, and understand different industries way faster than most people.

anyway, if you’re an adhd founder,

you’re gonna be okay.

(dalle - if adhd was an atom)
